Enjoy a moderate, guided hike through Glaciers National Park. After roughly two hours of gentle ascent through beautiful forests and mountain landscapes you'll reach Pliegue Tumbado with spectacular views of the entire area: Fitz Roy, Cerro Torre Glacier, Viedma Lake and, in the distance, the vast Southern Patagonian Ice Field, the source of the park's glaciers.

Return to your hotel for a relaxing soak in the tub and a well-earned home-cooked meal.

After a hearty breakfast you'll set off on a scenic 18 km drive before starting a guided hike through stunning landscapes of forest, mountains and glaciers. It's a moderate climb until you're rewarded with views of Laguna de Los Tres, one of Patagonia's most iconic vistas. You'll descend via a different route, eventually returning to your Chalten hotel to relax, unwind and enjoy an evening meal.

Enjoy another day of moderate, guided hiking through incredible Patagonian landscapes. The hike winds through a river canyon, past beautiful waterfalls and up to a viewpoint overlooking Cerro Torre, one of the climbing world's most revered mountains. Along the way your guide will teach you all about the area's rich flora and fauna and fascinating geological history.

You'll be collected from your hotel for a three-hour picturesque journey to El Calafate and transfer to your comfortable hotel. Spend the rest of the day unwinding from the journey, exploring the peaceful town and its glorious surroundings, before enjoying one of the many fantastic restaurants.

There's a real treat waiting on the second-to-last day of your trip. You'll be collected from your hotel after breakfast for a journey into Glaciers National Park to see the world-famous Perito Moreno Glacier. The glacier is more than two miles wide and averages 74 metres above the surface of Lake Argentino. It is one of the very few glaciers in the world that continues to advance and if you are lucky you may see the glacier calving as vast masses of ice break away from the glacier wall and collapse into the water. En-route you'll stop at the pier for a short cruise to the south wall of the glacier. It's only from the water that you can appreciate the true scale of the glacier, getting almost within the vast icebergs that it discharges into the lake. The boat stops at a close but safe distance from the glacier affording spectacular views of the immense ice wall.

On the final day of your trip you'll be collected from your hotel after breakfast for a transfer to the airport and your onward destination.
